(April 2026) FORT LEE, NJ – Welcome to Lights, Camera, Classics! From the location of what was “Hollywood” before Hollywood – Fort Lee, New Jersey, the place that gave birth to the motion picture industry. This site will focus on classic and independent films, film events and festivals, and some of the people and places that contribute to the industry. I was inspired to do this because of my love of classic films and films in general, which was sparked by my father as a child and by the Turner Classic Movies channel as an adult.
